I have been working hard to get this thing up and running. I have also had a lot of really great help from Jeremy Clark. Thanks to him everything is automated so every night at midnight the next day's picture will show up at the top of the page. There are special pictures for holidays, even the stupid ones. I hope you enjoy your visit; I plan to continue to make this site bigger and better. So there are a lot of reasons to visit often.

I took a week off work in honor of my birthday. I am really enjoying it. I made a few songs. Perhaps I will share some mp3's here when I am more convinced they are finished. It is funny how much time you have when you haven't sold 1/3 of your life for goods and services. Not to mention driving time.

Today (Wednesday) I went out to Red Lobster for what I think is the first time in my life. I have some vague memory of eating shrimp and thinking it was frog legs at a restaurant with my grandma and mother. That could have been a different restaurant though.

Tomorrow is my actual birthday (29) and I have to go to school. I don't like to do anything I don't want to do on my birthday. I like to act like a big spoiled princess. But I will be a good boy and go to school and sit quietly.

I am now going to eat Ice-Cream with my lovely wife.

02-04-08 - Back to Work

So I'm back at work. When I came in I thought I had been left with a bunch of stuff that was due out last thursday or worse. Then it was pointed out that I was looking at the wrong date. It's kinda funny to be back. I could really go for the whole not working thing if it wasn't for the homeless starving part.

For everybody's birthday the company gives out a silver helium balloon and a birthday card with a 20 dollar gift card in it. There is a seal holding the card envelope closed that says "you're Someone Special". WOW. I have never been special before and I have to say, it feels nice. Most likely that is not true, I am sure I had my special sticker when they gave it to me the last two years but I didn't pay attention to it.

On perhaps a related note it occurred to me that if I had a dollar for every time I should have kept my dang mouth shut I might not have to work.

Today in the paper this conservative pundit was going on about the mortgage crisis and blaming "predatory borrowers". She seemed serious. Yeah right. Like the people who are getting foreclosed on are being kicked out of a little more Mc-Mansion then they could afford. How bout they really were just trying to find a place to keep their family out of the rain. dumb. (That was me being political, I can knock it off if it's a pain in the ass.)

Back to my business birthday gift. $20 dollar best buy gift card. I think I'll get the new NIN remix album.

02-10-08 - Spicy

What a difference a few years make. I was putting my two little girls to bed tonight and my 9 year old daughter picked up the toothpaste I use and said "ah, my favorite toothpaste". This is the same girl who only a few years ago would only use the infant toothpaste because the kid toothpaste was to "spicy". I asked her, "Isn't that 'too spicy?'" And she replied directly from the label "I like it because it whitens teeth and freshens breath!" I thought the poor little thing has already placed feminine insecurity over personal comfort. So I asked "Aren't your teeth white enough?" And she said "Are you kidding? They're yellow" after a pause my 5 year old daughter chimed in "My teeth are green, bright green!"

We just acquired a digital camera. Perhaps I could make things more "spicy" around here with it.

02-18-08 - RSS feed

Jeremy has been very helpful and hooked this joint up with an RSS feed. It's the way of the future. If you use a feed reader (I hear google reader is a good one) you can click the little orange feed icon in your address bar up at the top and be automatically notified any time I so much as break wind around here. It is a lot like being an FBI agent only I actually want you to be spying on me. You don't even need a warrant. I am still working on some thing I can pretend is like you guys getting to waterboard me!
