I had a few too many pictures this month this is one that didn't make it in. I drew this when I was completing an automated task at work where I had to push one button every time to complete the task. I later figured out how to supress the dialouge and make it completely automated.

12-06-08 - NEW FEATURES!!!

Share

I have signed Jumps Over the Lazy Dog up for "Google Friend Connect". It is a really cool service that will allow members to rate and respond to my posts, you will also be able to invite your friends to join the site and make friends with other members of the site. The best part is you don't need a new name and password. You can sign in with your Google, Yahoo, AIM or OpenID account. I am really excited about this. I hope you guys have a lot of fun using it.

To rate a drawing or a blog click the plus button on the left to expand the rating and review gadget and then just rate or review it. Don't go all crazy giving everything a five. I know it will be tempting, but what would you do when I really blow your head off with something cool? You won't have any where to go. Also lets keep the comments family friendly, it will be ok to get a little "Shreck" on it but lets keep the cusses down to a minimum.

Gigantic thank you to Jeremy on this, once again he has enabled me to do so much more than I could do on my own. Ladies give this man a call. You can give him Eskimo kisses on my behalf. (he doesn't like it when I offer my own.)

12-08-08 - California knows how to party

Natalie from California sent me a message over MySpace that said: "I hope I'm not the only Californian who checks out your amazing drawings!". To which I replied: "According to google analytics i get visitors from Campbell, Los Angeles, and Huntington Park!" She said: "very cool!"

Theoretically this whole exchange could have taken place here on Jumps Over the Lazy Dog with the new features in the rate and review boxes. But it's all good I like any kind of response and I will continue to post any correspondence I get in regard to the site. Thanks for looking guys!

By the way, don't be shy about clicking that "invite" link to tell your friends about Jumps Over The Lazy Dog.

California does not know how to rate and review :)

This is what a Phish logo drawn by a six year old looks like.

Finally I have been considering allowing anonymous posts. Members you can vote on this in the rate review of this post. Voting closes in a week. In the event of a tie or no votes I will allow them.

I found some other sites with Google friend connect but it is kinda funny most of them are just people who are really really excited about social networking. I am thinking about adding another gadget to the site to allow members to post their own content. I don't really know when or if that is going to work out.

Welcome google friend connect users that I don't know, it is exciting to have you here. On a related note go check out the Wikipedia article on google friend connect I added this site and some others to the links. I don't know how long it will last, you know how the Wikipedia Nazis are, "IRRELEVANT!" They might shoot me down but in the mean time I can feel cool cause I am on Wikipedia even if I did have to put myself on there.

If anyone knows any GFC sites that might amuse me let me know, keep in mind that I am looking to be ENTERTAINED not informed. I can inform myself.

Lets look at some dead bugs!

dead bugdead bug

Sometimes at work I will notice a sheet of paper that comes through with a tiny dead bug on it. I am talking tiny. See those yellow dots on the scans. Those are supposed to be imperceptible to the human eye at a glance. (those yellow dots are there so that if I scan a dollar it is trackable, and rumor has it that the FBI gets contacted immediately but that sounds suspect to me.) I have scanned these at like 400 or 800 percent. I think they are awesome. I saw a book once by Brian Fround the dude who designed The Dark Crystal and The Labyrinth called Lady Cottingtons Pressed Farie Book these kinda remind me of that.

I went to Crosstown Station last Monday and jammed onstage, it was a really good time

Have a quality day, eat some soup.

analytics

Good news! I have now had hits from half the states in the U.S.! This is exciting for me as I like to creepily track my hits with Google Analytics.

Now if the lazy turds in the following states would please visit my site I will have all fifty: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont (I am looking in your direction Mike Gordon) Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, West Virginia, South Carolina, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennesee (Come on distant relatives get on the ball), Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Iowa, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and Alaska (Wasilla residents need not apply).

It's FREE. It's EASY. It's so easy that even people from Kansas have figured out how to do it.

Now to balance my Karma from getting on to the states who are too backwards to come to the best website in the world, I will now thank the states that have found the time to show up.

Thank you: California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Colorado, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts.

Also Thank you to Canada and all of my other international readers. I plan to have a cartoon making fun of Bulgaria next month, don't take it personally. I am THRILLED to have international visitors.

In conclusion, we have hits in half of the united states, well done, but there is still a lot of work to do if we want to take over the world.
