Hi, thanks for looking at this. I have been doing a drawing for every day since February 2008. I have on occasion used drawings from before I started this project, but for the most part I have drawn around 30 pictures a month. If you have been keeping up with me you also know that I was recently in school and finished my associates degree. It was a major challenge to work 40 plus hours a week and attend school full time, and on top of it all I continued to do about 30 drawings a month. For some reason when I finished school I just kinda shut down. Call it burn out or what ever you want, the result is 6 drawings to post in January, which clearly will not do. I am going to try to keep you entertained by posting other peoples drawings. In fact if you send me a drawing I promise to post it this month. I am going to be blogging more. Next month I am going to start something new, I am excited about it. If it doesn't work out I can go back to doing things the way I have been, but I am going to try it. Honestly it is exciting and refreshing to be doing something new around here. Hang in there throughout this month and I will do my best to make it pay off in February.

01-04-10 - Not having a scanner is complicating things

I used to have an HP all in one and that is what I scanned my drawings with. It was old and I had repaired parts of it from time to time. It finally died all the way a few months ago. I have been using my Mom's printer/scanner/copier/fax machine or whatever else I could get my hands on. Yesterday I discovered my Mom's scanner wasn't going to work for me any more. Flopping heck.

01-09-10 - xml plus reader equals fail

I did a strike through in the title of todays cartoon. It works on the site but when I saw it in reader it had failed into code gibberish. I'm not changing it.

01-25-10 - Thank you updates

Thanks to everyone who contributed to my month off; Jon Pennington, Alicia Fox, Mike Fisher, Rob Chester, Tracy Jones, Chuck Smith, Janna,Gracie, and Garret Enyeart, my kids Ethan, Melanie, and Madalyn, And James Fox. To finish out the month we will have Alicia again, Jennie Ransom, and my wife Jade.

I am really excited about the changes I am making around here and can't wait to show you both. At this point I do know that it will at least work. I have some lofty plans that are still up in the air but I am thrilled to be as far as I am now.
